Information Management Division of AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS, achieved in 2019:

  • +7% sales growth
  • Improved Gross Profit Margin
  • +14% adjusted EBITDA growth
  • Increased contribution from digital transformation projects

INFORM, Information Management Division of AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS, recorded consolidated revenues of € 72.5 million increasing by € 4.5 million or 6.6% compared to last year. Key contributors to sales growth, were the production of security ballots for the presidential elections in Nigeria, which was successfully implemented in the first quarter of 2019 in Greece and Romania, with sales of € 4.6 million, as well as the contribution of the two acquisitions that took place in 2019 in Romania and specifically the acquisition of 65% of the shares of SISTEC companies and the business transfer of STAR STORAGE customer contracts.

Consolidated adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (adjusted EBITDA) increased by 14% or € 0.7 million, from € 5.5 million in 2018 to € 6.2 million in 2019, driven from sales growth, improved product mix, reduced production cost as a percentage of sales and therefore improved gross profit margin by 3%, from 13% in 2018 to 16% in 2019. INFORM, committed to the development of digital transformation services, also provides highly specialized and technologically advanced solutions, in order to support its customers in their own digital transformation. An indicative example of the implementation of a digital transformation project is the Digital on Boarding (DoB) solution for National Bank of Greece. The above service (DoB) is complementary to other digital solutions that have already been implemented, such as Customer Communication Management, Enterprise Document Management and Scanning & Archiving solutions. INFORM, following its strategy to increase the participation of new digital services, continuously innovates with the provision of highly specialized and technologically advanced digitalization solutions, such as Robotic Process Automation, Natural Language Understanding and Cognitive Analytics Solutions, in order to support its customers and to attract new ones, supporting them in their own digital transformation journey, continuously investing to strengthen INFORM’s already specialized team with the integration of new specialized team members.
