Meet the SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Manolis Kontos

Group CEO

Mr. Emmanouil Kontos was born in Australia in 1971.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He began his career in 1995 at Colgate Palmolive in Greece, where by 2000 he was Head of Financial Reporting. From 2000 to 2007 he was Finance Director Greece, MENA & European Development Markets, CEE at General Mills, taking then the role of Financial Controller Greek Business Unit at Coca Cola Hellenic. He continued as Group CFO at Korres Natural Products in Greece until 2011. From 2011 until 2018 he held leadership roles with General Mills initially as Finance Director Middle East, North Africa & Turkey based in Dubai, then GM Sub Saharan Africa in Johannesburg/Dubai and his last role before joining AC Group was Managing Director Middle East and Africa Region. In 2018, Mr. Kontos joined INFORM, listed on the ATHEX, as Managing Director of that division and then he hold the position of Group Deputy CEO. Currently, he is Group CEO of AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS AG. Having over two decades of experience across Europe and Middle East Africa, Mr. Kontos is an international leader and operated in senior CFO and Managing Director roles.

Dimitrios Alexandris

Chief Intelligence Officer (CIO)

Dimitrios Alexandris, is AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS’ Group CIO CSO CQO, and Systems and Processes Director at INFORM. He joined INFORM on May 1989. Over his 35 years of experience, he lead, managed and participated in numerous IT, Security, and Quality projects and achieved Certifications from International Organizations, for various Group companies. Born in 1963, holds a BSc in Business Administration Computer Information Systems from Deree College, and an MBA from University of Sunderland, UK.

Kostas Fiakas

Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)

Kostas Fiakas is the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of the Information Management Division of AUSTRIACARD following a successful career of 20 years in Information Technology and Telecom industries. Previously, he was the Country Manager of Cognity Romania, where under his leadership the company expanded organically but also business wise among different industries. Before that he was the Commercial Director of Intracom Telecom subsidiary in Romania as well as held various Managerial positions in Business Development in SEE. Kostas Fiakas holds a BSc degree in Computer Science and an
MSc degree in Management of Business, Innovation and Technology.

Kostas Grekis

Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Kostas Grekis is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of INFORM (member of AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS). Kostas has an extensive experience in Digital & Security Printing Industry from 1990. Till 2012 he was General Manager and shareholder in a large printing company in Greece. Today he has undertaken the commercial development of the INFORM in all the markets in which it operates.
