ACOS-IDv4.1 Tops the List with Four ANSSI Certifications

Our newest version of the ACOS ID product, which utilizes the advanced Infineon SLC26G chip (28 nanometers), has successfully obtained four ANSSI certifications.

We are pleased to announce that ACOS-IDv4.1 has achieved significant certification milestones. Here are the key details:

Certified by French ANSSI under Common Criteria (EAL5+).
Published certificates are now available. (please see links below)
Certified as an eMRTD (Machine Readable Travel Document).
All related derivatives of eMRTD are included in the certification.
Recognized as an SSCD (Secure Signature Creation Device).

What is ACOS-ID?

ACOS-ID is the ICAO and eIDAS compliant native smart card operating system developed by AUSTRIACARD. ACOS is designed for a very broad range of applications, ranging from:

Passport/National Identity card
eID card (Identification, Authentication and qualified Signature / PKI),
Residence permit card
Driving License
Vehicle registration card
Health card to special purpose applications developed for customer’s needs.
In addition multi-application support allows any combination thereof.

Implementing all relevant international / European standards and specifications from ICAO (doc9303), ISO (Driver’s License), CEN (eIDAS, Signature) ensures full international acceptance and interoperability. ACOS-ID has been certified according Common Criteria EAL 5+ concerning all relevant Protection Profiles as well as according to ANSSI “Qualification renforcée” at the highest level.
