DataBri-X aims to develop a user-friendly toolbox that enables the creation and integration of data spaces for data-driven applications. This toolbox enhances data and metadata interoperability, usability, quality, and integrity while ensuring compliance with accountability, fairness, privacy, and confidentiality regulations, as well as adhering to FAIR (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reuse) principles.

AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS’s role in the project is of great importance as it provides 3 tools in the DataBri-X toolbox, related to Cost attribution, Anomaly Detection and Data Anonymization while at the same time managing the cloud infrastructure and the whole CI/CD development process.

DATA CELLAR aims to create a federated energy dataspace that will support the creation, development and management of LECs in EU. The data space population will be facilitated via an innovative rewarded private metering approach, with a focus on an easy onboarding and interaction, guaranteeing a smooth integration with other EU energy data spaces, providing to LEC stakeholders services and tools for developing their activities.

AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS plays a pivotal role in spearheading the Token-based Incentive Model for Data Valorization and Monetization, as well as overseeing Marketplace Integration, Orchestration, and Workspace Management. Our primary objective is to enhance user engagement while maximizing the utility and marketability of data within the ecosystem. The mechanisms we have developed leverage AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS’s innovative and scalable loyalty platform, which has demonstrated effectiveness in customer acquisition and retention. By facilitating secure and privacy-preserving data exchange, we enable all stakeholders in the Data Cellar Marketplace to interact seamlessly, fostering trust and generating long-term value.

The TANGO projects provides a trustworthy data management and sharing solution to ensure data sovereignty, governance and provenance to citizens, businesses, and public administration around Europe. The TANGO project develops a solution for secure, trustworthy, and environmentally sustainable data management.


AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS is actively participating in the implementation of the pilots of the project, providing a centralized portal where the users can register to the TANGO platform and use the TANGO offerings that are related to their use cases. Apart from the portal UI, AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS implements a front-end level integration of the various components exchanging information securely through APIs.

The UPCAST Project provides a set of universal, trustworthy, transparent, and user-friendly data market plugins for the automation of data sharing and processing agreements between businesses, public administrations and citizens. These plugins will enable actors in the common European data spaces to design and deploy data exchange and trading operations, considering efficiency for the environment as well as compliance with EU and national initiatives, AI regulations and ethical procedures.

AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS offers to the UPCAST ecosystem, the pricing plugin, that through a multi-variant algorithmic framework provides estimates about the pricing of the dataset in question compared to other similar available datasets in the market. AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS is also involved in the design of the data valuation and the environmental plugin as well as in the task of ensuring UPCAST compatibility with previous related projects.

Safe-DEED (Safe Data-Enabled Economic Development) brings together partners from cryptography, data science, business innovation, and law to focus on improving Security technologies, improving trust as well as on the diffusion of Privacy enhancing technologies. Furthermore, as many companies have no data valuation processes in place, Safe-DEED provides a set of tools to facilitate the assessment of data value, thus incentivizing data owners to make use of the scalable cryptographic protocols developed in Safe-DEED to create value for their companies and their clients.
