Java Software Engineer
NAUTILUS IoT a member of AUSTRIACARD AG GROUP OF COMPANIES seeks to recruit:
JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER, to join the IoT department.
The job requires analytical thinking, very good programming skills, rapid development techniques and strong commitment to quality results (zero error tolerant applications).
Responsibilities:
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
The candidate must possess following qualifications:
- Work experience in related field (6+ years).
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience.
- Proven working experience in Java development.
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience in SOAP and RESTFUL services.
- Experience with NoSQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experience in developing with Redis and Messaging Services.
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Build Tools, Maven.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Excellent (English) writing skills. Must clearly document development effort.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

Software Engineer Embedded Systems

The candidate must demonstrate practical experience, in the following technology domains.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Proficient in C++ and its ecosystems.
- Experience in IoT communication protocols.
- Knack for writing clean, readable code.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
The candidate must possess following qualifications:
- Work experience in related field (5+ years).
- Bachelor or other degree in IT.
